Terms of service
The agreements and policies that govern domains registered, transferred and renewed through this site.
Effective date:
This Domain Registration and Management Agreement (“Agreement”) governs domain registration, transfer, renewal, DNS, monitoring, recovery, and related services ordered from Corporate Domain Registry (“CDR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “Customer,” “you,” and “your” mean the person or organization ordering the Services and, where applicable, the registered name holder.
1. Reseller relationship and upstream terms
CDR is an independent reseller and domain-management provider, not a top-level-domain registry operator and not itself an ICANN-accredited registrar. Domain services are fulfilled through an applicable accredited registrar—anticipated at launch to include Tucows Domains Inc. through OpenSRS—and the registry operator for the selected top-level domain. You agree to the then-current registrar and registry terms presented or linked during ordering. For Tucows-fulfilled domains, the Tucows Master Domain Registration Agreement applies: https://assets.opensrs.com/Uploads/Master_Domain_Registration_Agreement.html. If an upstream term conflicts with this Agreement on a registrar- or registry-controlled matter, the upstream term controls.
3. Registrant ownership
Unless a lawful written instruction states otherwise, the customer or customer-designated entity—not CDR—will be recorded as the registered name holder. CDR’s role is to facilitate and manage the Service. Registration creates a time-limited contractual right subject to the registrar, registry, ICANN, CIRA, and applicable law; it does not guarantee unrestricted property rights in a domain.
5. Accurate information and verification
You must provide complete, accurate, and current account, registrant, contact, payment, and eligibility information and update it promptly when it changes. You must respond within the period specified in any registrar, registry, ICANN, CIRA, or CDR verification request. Inaccurate, incomplete, or unverified information may result in delay, rejection, suspension, cancellation, or loss of a domain.
6. Domain selection and lawful use
You are responsible for determining whether a domain and its use violate a trademark, privacy right, law, court order, acceptable-use rule, or third-party right. You will not use the Services for phishing, malware, botnets, impersonation, fraud, counterfeiting, spam, unlawful content, unauthorized access, deceptive conduct, or any other abusive or illegal purpose.
7. Orders and availability
Searches, quotations, and order submissions do not reserve or guarantee a domain. A registration, transfer, renewal, or recovery is complete only when accepted and confirmed by the applicable registrar and registry. We may reject or cancel an order affected by availability, eligibility, compliance, technical, fraud, payment, or pricing errors. If we cancel an unfulfilled order, our obligation is limited to refunding the amount paid for the unfulfilled item.
8. Fees, taxes, and payment
You must pay the displayed or quoted fees and applicable taxes before we are required to perform the Service. Registry, registrar, foreign-exchange, premium-name, restoration, and other upstream charges may change. Except where law or an express refund policy requires otherwise, completed registrations, renewals, transfers, recoveries, management work, and third-party charges are non-refundable.
9. Renewals and expiration
Registration ends on the communicated expiry date unless renewed. You remain responsible for timely renewal even if we offer reminders or automatic renewal. Automatic renewal depends on an enabled setting, valid payment, account standing, and registrar and registry availability and is not guaranteed. After expiry, services may stop and the domain may enter grace, redemption, deletion, auction, or reallocation processes. The separate Expired Registration Recovery Policy is incorporated into this Agreement.
10. Transfers and changes of registrant
Transfers and registrant changes are governed by the applicable registrar, registry, and ICANN Transfer Policy. A domain may be locked or ineligible for transfer because of recent registration, transfer, registrant change, expiry, dispute, court order, payment issue, abuse review, or another permitted restriction. You authorize us to submit approved transfer and contact-change instructions to the registrar, but you may also need to approve registrar communications or provide an authorization code. We will not request your password for another registrar.
11. DNS and service continuity
You are responsible for confirming nameservers, DNS records, email routing, hosting dependencies, and technical instructions. We will use reasonable care when carrying out accepted instructions but do not guarantee uninterrupted DNS, website, email, transfer, or third-party service operation. Before a transfer or DNS change, you should retain a current copy of all required DNS and service configuration.
12. Suspension, cancellation, and compliance action
We or the applicable registrar or registry may reject, suspend, lock, cancel, transfer, or otherwise restrict a Service where required or permitted by an agreement, policy, law, court order, dispute decision, abuse process, sanctions rule, payment failure, security concern, or investigation. Where reasonably possible and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address a curable issue.
13. Privacy and registration data
We process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy. You authorize us to provide required data to the registrar, registry operator, verification and escrow providers, payment processors, and governing authorities. Registration data may be published, redacted, disclosed, or retained as required or permitted by applicable policy and law. If you supply another person’s information, you confirm that you have authority and have provided any required notice.
14. Disputes concerning domain rights
You are bound by applicable dispute policies, including the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (“UDRP”), Uniform Rapid Suspension System where applicable, CIRA Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy for eligible .CA disputes, and any registry-specific policy. We may implement binding decisions or lawful orders and may lock or restrict a domain while a dispute is pending. Our Domain Name Dispute Policy Notice is incorporated into this Agreement.
15. Third-party services
Registrar, registry, payment, hosting, email, security, certificate, and other third-party services are subject to their own availability and terms. CDR is not responsible for a third party’s independent acts or omissions except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that a desired domain will be available, that a registration will prevent a legal challenge, or that an expired or disputed domain can be recovered.
17. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CDR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, opportunity, data, website availability, or email availability. CDR’s aggregate liability arising from a Service will not exceed the amount paid to CDR for that affected Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.
18. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CDR, the applicable registrar and registry, ICANN, CIRA, and their respective affiliates, personnel, and contractors from third-party claims, damages, penalties, and reasonable costs arising from your domain, content, instructions, breach of this Agreement, unlawful conduct, or infringement of another party’s rights, except to the extent caused by the indemnified party’s own conduct where such exclusion is prohibited by law.
19. Notices and changes
We may send notices to the account or registrant email address on record and may post generally applicable updates on the website. You are responsible for monitoring those addresses and keeping them current. We may amend this Agreement to reflect changes in Services, suppliers, policy, or law. Material discretionary changes will take effect after reasonable notice; mandatory upstream or legal changes may apply when required.
20. Governing law
Except where an applicable domain dispute policy, registrar agreement, registry rule, or mandatory law provides otherwise, this Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The parties submit to the courts located in Ontario, Canada. Nothing in this section prevents a party from seeking urgent injunctive relief or complying with a mandatory dispute forum.
21. General terms
This Agreement, the order, incorporated policies, and applicable upstream terms form the entire agreement for the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or replaced to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this Agreement without our consent, except in connection with a permitted transfer of the relevant domain and acceptance by the new registrant. Sections intended by their nature to survive will survive termination.
22. Contact
Customer service and legal notices may be sent to support@corporatedomainregistry.com, subject to any different notice method stated in an applicable order or upstream agreement.
This document also incorporates expired registration recovery policy, privacy policy and domain name dispute policy notice.
Effective date:
This disclaimer applies to the website at CorporateDomainRegistry.com and the domain registration, transfer, renewal, monitoring, DNS, and related services offered under the Corporate Domain Registry brand (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the website or using the Services, you accept this disclaimer together with the applicable terms of service and registration agreements.
1. Independent service provider
Corporate Domain Registry is an independent domain reseller and management provider. It is not a government body, domain-name registry operator, ICANN, CIRA, or—unless expressly stated for a particular service—the customer’s current registrar. Domain registrations and transfers are fulfilled through one or more accredited registrars and applicable registry operators.
2. Information and availability
Website content is provided for general information. Domain availability, registration data, expiry dates, pricing, registry requirements, and transfer eligibility can change without notice. A search result or quotation does not guarantee that a domain can be registered, renewed, recovered, or transferred. An order is complete only after acceptance and confirmation by the applicable registrar and registry.
3. No legal, tax, or trademark advice
Information supplied through the website or by support personnel is not legal, tax, accounting, cybersecurity, or trademark advice. Customers are responsible for confirming that their registration and use of a domain comply with applicable law and do not violate another party’s rights.
4. Third-party services
The Services may rely on registrars, registries, payment processors, hosting providers, DNS operators, certificate authorities, and other third parties. Their own terms and policies may apply. References or links to third parties do not constitute a warranty or endorsement, and Corporate Domain Registry is not responsible for a third party’s separate products, content, availability, or conduct except to the extent required by law.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the website’s original text, design, graphics, and branding belong to Corporate Domain Registry or its licensors. You may view and print reasonable extracts for your internal, non-commercial use. Republication, resale, automated extraction, or commercial distribution requires prior written permission, excluding materials expressly made available under separate terms.
6. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and Services are provided on an “as available” basis. Corporate Domain Registry disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corporate Domain Registry will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, business opportunity, data, website availability, or email availability arising from the website or Services. Any limitation in the applicable service agreement applies in addition to this disclaimer.
8. Changes
We may update this disclaimer to reflect operational, legal, or policy changes. The current version will be posted on the website with its effective date. Material changes affecting existing customers will be communicated as required by the applicable agreement or law.
This document also incorporates domain registration and management agreement.

This Privacy Policy explains how Corporate Domain Registry (“CDR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through CorporateDomainRegistry.com, customer support, orders, and domain-management services.
1. Information we collect
- Account and contact data, such as name, organization, postal address, email address, telephone number, and login or authentication information.
- Domain and service data, such as requested domains, registrant data required by the applicable top-level domain, nameservers, DNS settings, renewal preferences, transfer information, support communications, and authorization records.
- Transaction data, such as products purchased, invoices, payment status, currency, and fraud-screening results. Full payment-card details are generally processed by our payment provider rather than stored by us.
- Technical and usage data, such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, referring pages, site activity, cookies, and security logs.
- Marketing preferences and information you provide when requesting an audit, quotation, or other communication.
2. How we use information
- Create and administer accounts; process registrations, transfers, renewals, DNS changes, and support requests.
- Verify identity and authority; prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized transfers, and security incidents.
- Process payments, issue records, communicate service notices, and administer renewals.
- Comply with registrar, registry, ICANN, CIRA, legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services.
- Send marketing communications where permitted, subject to available consent and opt-out rights.
3. Registrar and registry data sharing
Domain services require us to provide necessary registration data to the applicable accredited registrar, registry operator, escrow provider, verification service, and governing body. The required data varies by top-level domain. Public registration-data services may publish or redact information in accordance with applicable policy and law. We do not promise that all registration data will be public or private in every jurisdiction or extension.
4. Other disclosures
We may disclose personal information to payment processors, hosting and security vendors, communications providers, professional advisers, and other suppliers that help deliver the Services; to a buyer or successor in a bona fide corporate transaction; to protect customers, the public, our rights, or the integrity of the Services; or where required or permitted by law, court order, regulatory process, registrar policy, or registry policy. We do not sell personal information for money.
6. Cross-border processing
Our service providers, registrars, registries, and technical systems may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Information may therefore be subject to lawful access by authorities in those jurisdictions. We use contractual and operational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and applicable requirements.
7. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain registration and transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and satisfy contractual, legal, tax, and compliance obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and applicable registrar or registry requirements.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted transmission where appropriate. No system is completely secure. Customers must protect account credentials, use multifactor authentication when offered, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
9. Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about our handling of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Some requests may be limited by identity-verification, registrar, registry, legal, security, or recordkeeping requirements. You may unsubscribe from marketing messages using the provided mechanism, but operational service communications will continue where necessary.
10. Children
The Services are intended for adults and businesses and are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly offer domain-registration accounts directly to children.
11. External links
Our website may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and we are not responsible for those practices.
12. Changes and contact
We may revise this policy as our Services, suppliers, or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted with its effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to privacy@corporatedomainregistry.com. We may request information needed to verify identity and authority before fulfilling a request.
Effective date:
This notice summarizes the dispute frameworks that may apply to domain names ordered or managed through Corporate Domain Registry. It does not replace the official policy text, procedural rules, registrar agreement, registry rules, or legal advice.
1. Applicable policies
- Generic top-level domains may be subject to ICANN’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) and its Rules.
- Certain new generic top-level domains may also be subject to the Uniform Rapid Suspension System (URS).
- .CA domain names may be subject to CIRA’s Canadian Dispute Resolution Policy and procedural rules.
- Country-code and specialized top-level domains may be governed by additional or different registry dispute policies.
2. Incorporation of official rules
The official policy in force when a dispute is initiated governs. For the UDRP, see https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/policy-2012-02-25-en and https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/udrp-rules-2015-03-11-en. Approved UDRP providers are listed at https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/providers-6d-2012-02-25-en. For .CA disputes, consult CIRA’s current policies at https://www.cira.ca/en/legal-policy-and-compliance/cira-policies/. These external materials may change without amendment to this notice.
3. UDRP overview
Under the UDRP, a complainant generally must establish that the disputed domain is identical or confusingly similar to a mark in which the complainant has rights, the registrant lacks rights or legitimate interests in the domain, and the domain was registered and is being used in bad faith. The official policy defines the applicable evidence, procedure, defenses, fees, remedies, publication requirements, and court options.
4. Registrar and reseller roles
Corporate Domain Registry is a reseller and management provider, not the UDRP decision-maker. The accredited registrar maintains the registration of record and implements valid decisions, orders, locks, transfers, cancellations, or suspensions as required by the applicable policy. CDR may transmit communications, assist with account verification, preserve the status quo, or submit an authorized instruction, but it does not decide the merits of a dispute.
5. Maintaining the status quo
A registrar may lock or restrict a domain during a pending administrative, judicial, arbitral, abuse, or ownership proceeding. Transfers to another holder or registrar may be prohibited for a period specified by the applicable policy. Attempting to evade a dispute restriction may result in reversal, cancellation, suspension, or other action.
6. Court and administrative decisions
CDR and the registrar may comply with a binding administrative decision, court order, arbitral order, registry direction, or applicable law. Under the UDRP, implementation of a transfer or cancellation decision is subject to the court-filing process and waiting period specified in the official policy. A customer relying on that process must provide the required official documentation within the prescribed time.
7. Other disputes
Disputes not governed by a mandatory domain policy remain between the affected parties and may be addressed through a court, arbitration, settlement, or another lawful process. CDR does not provide legal representation and should not be named as a party solely because it supplied reseller or management services.
8. Customer obligations
- Maintain accurate registrant and account contact information.
- Monitor communications and meet all response deadlines.
- Preserve evidence and obtain independent legal advice when appropriate.
- Do not transfer, alter, conceal, or misuse a domain to evade a pending dispute.
- Pay provider and professional fees directly unless an agreement expressly states otherwise.
9. Updates
We may update this notice to track changes in registrar, registry, ICANN, CIRA, or legal requirements. The official policy and rules always control over this summary.
Effective date:
This policy explains how Corporate Domain Registry handles expiration notices, renewal, and recovery requests. Actual timelines and fees are controlled by the applicable accredited registrar and top-level-domain registry and may differ by extension.
1. Customer responsibility
The registrant remains responsible for maintaining accurate contact and payment information and for renewing each domain before its expiry date. We send reminders as a courtesy, but non-delivery of a reminder does not extend a registration term or guarantee recovery.
2. Renewal and automatic renewal
Automatic renewal is available only when shown as enabled in the customer account, a valid payment method is on file, and the applicable registrar and registry permit renewal. An automatic-renewal attempt may fail because of payment, account, registry, compliance, or technical issues. Customers should verify completion rather than relying solely on the setting.
3. Expiry and service interruption
After expiry, the domain and associated website, email, DNS, or forwarding services may stop working. The registrar or registry may change DNS resolution, place the domain on an expiry page, suspend it, delete it, or make it available under its expiry process.
4. Renewal grace period
Where available, an expired domain may be renewed during a post-expiry grace period. For many generic top-level domains fulfilled through Tucows/OpenSRS, the registrar may offer a period of up to approximately 40 days, but no grace period is guaranteed and some extensions follow different rules. A renewal normally extends from the original expiry date, not the date payment is received.
5. Redemption and restoration
After any renewal grace period, an eligible domain may enter a redemption or restoration phase. Recovery during this phase may require an additional registry or registrar restoration fee plus the normal renewal fee. Recovery is not guaranteed and must be confirmed by the applicable registrar and registry.
6. Deletion and loss of rights
If a domain is not renewed or restored within the periods made available by the registrar or registry, it may be deleted and become available for registration or allocation to another party. Corporate Domain Registry cannot guarantee recovery after expiration and is not responsible for a third party registering a released domain, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. How to request recovery
- Contact support@corporatedomainregistry.com immediately.
- Provide the domain name and complete any requested identity or authority verification.
- Pay the quoted renewal, redemption, restoration, and service fees.
- Wait for written confirmation that the registrar or registry has completed the recovery.
8. Priority of upstream rules
If this policy conflicts with the rules or procedures of the applicable registrar, registry operator, ICANN, or CIRA, the applicable upstream rule or procedure controls.

Important distinction
Corporate Domain Registry is an independent reseller and domain-management provider. It does not operate ICANN or any top-level-domain registry and does not claim ICANN accreditation. The accredited registrar and applicable registry are identified in the registration process and governing agreements.
